يهدف البحث إلى إظهار الإمكانيات التشكيلية للخامة في مدارس الفن الحديث لإثراء مجال الأشغال الفنية، من خلال المجالات الفنية المختلفة، وعلى ذلك فقد قام الباحث بعمل دراسة مختصرة للإمكانيات التشكيلية للخامة والتقنية عند مدارس الفن الحديث لإثراء مجال الأشغال الفنية، مع عرض بعض نماذج لبعض فناني هذه المدارس ممن اهتموا بالخامة والتجريب، لإبراز الطرق الأدائية والتقنية التي يمكن الوصول من خلالها إل أساليب جديدة في مجال الأشغال الفنية.
